When to Go to Las Vegas – USA
Las Vegas is thought of as a city for gamblers, but honestly speaking there is a lot more to it: outdoor activities, a variety of delicious eateries, lots of entertainment and an amazing, absolutely sensational night life. There is so much more to explore there than just casinos, bars, night clubs and gambling. It changed my outlook of the city when I personally went out to explore it and I’m sure it will change yours as well once you make a planned visit there.
Some people would just give no thought before a paying any place a visit. They’d pack their bags and set off to their journey there but if you go anywhere with some planning, including considering the weather, the choice of activities you’ll want to experience and the places you can visit during your stay, you’re sure to avail the pleasures this city has to offer in an even better way. This is why I thought of sharing with you all the best time to visit a place like Las Vegas.
The best known time to visit Vegas is either spring or autumn as the weather is pleasant and dependable. However, if you are planning on spending all of your time indoors, it doesn’t matter what time you go but if you’re thinking about having more outdoor fun and adventures such as playing golf or tennis, hiking, biking or boating, try visiting in the months of March, April, early May, October, November or early December. Spring and autumn times are the nicest times of the year.
The best times for grabbing special deals and bargains for hotel rooms and flights, in my opinion, are in January, hot summer months of July and August and also December, after the National Finals Rodeo in early December, and excluding the last week (between Christmas and New Year).
Weather in December, January and February varies incredibly. While it can be very windy, cold, rainy or snowy at times, there are better chances of having a milder temperature and the sun shining out, showing its glorious. Although the weather is less dependable than in spring or fall, winter months are much more suitable for outdoor activities. In nearby Lee Canyon it is possible to go skiing in the mountains however from mid-May through mid-September, the heat is scorching and hence it is better to stay indoors.
If you were to ask me, Id choose to go in either January or December. Honestly, the winter months in Las Vegas provide an unbeatable combination of good value and choice of activities. If you’re an adventurous person, you too will love going there in winter. Whenever you choose to go, I just hope you enjoy and make the most of your stay there. Have fun!
